Description
Shelf life and use:
Pumpkin seed oil has a shelf life of at least 10 months if it is stored away from heat and light. The optimal storage temperature is approximately 15 degrees Celsius. After opening, keep tightly closed and use up quickly. We take Regionality to heart which is also a reason for us to produce Styrian Pumpkin Seed Oil in addition to our organic products. The regional brand “Steirisches Kürbiskernöl g.g.A.” has been a protected denomination throughout the EU since 1996. A banderol with an individual consecutive control number is the sign for the recognition of this quality. This banderol ensures inspected, real Steirisches Kürbiskernöl g.g.A.. Look for it when you go shopping – the banderol is on the cap or on the label.
If you store your pumpkin seed oil in the refrigerator we recommend that you take it out of the refrigerator some time before using it to enrich your salads so that it has time to develop its full aroma. Excellent as a dressing for salads, to flavor soups, sauces and spreads. Not suitable for frying!
